MY STORY
My name is Alissa; I'm the mother of a now 7 year old little girl named Emmy. My mom always warned me that I would have a child as stubborn and hard-headed as I was when I was little; and boy was she right! She's the light of my life even if we don't always see eye to eye.
I've been baking since I was her age; and can still remember making green cookies for St. Patrick's Day at 8 years old and the darn things just wouldn't firm up; and for the life of me I couldn't figure out why. About 10 years ago it dawned on me... I forgot to add the flour!
I have since learned the error of my ways and haven't forgotten the flour once.
